Pike Trail League & Lakeside Invitational Scholars Bowl Meets The Pike Trail League and the Lakeside Invitational Scholar Bowl Meets were hosted by Lakeside in Downs on February 12, 2018.

On Saturday, November 18, Mindy Gower, a 2015 Phillipsburg High School Graduate, was honored at the Kansas Teacher of the Year 2018 State Awards Banquet in Wichita. Gower received the Kansas Teacher of Promise Award.
