The Logan-Palco Trojans win at home

The Logan-Palco Trojans hosted their first home game against Stockton at the Trojan field in Logan on Friday, Sept. 10. Coming off of a 64-18 loss to Lakeside last week in their season opener, the Trojans made adjustments and were ready to take on the Tigers. The Trojans jumped to an early lead and never looked back as they rolled over the Tigers 58-16.

Senior quarterback Dylan Van Laeys threw for 259 yards and rushed for 142 yards, scoring 3 touchdowns. Senior Jadin Newell rushed for 133 yards and completed 3 receptions for 111 yards, one of those racking up 72 yards. Senior Kylor Hogan tallied 112 yards on 3 receptions. Newell scored 4 touchdowns with Hogan and Kyler Martin each adding one.

On the defensive side of the ball, junior Josh Uhland led the team with 16 tackles while Austin Stohs added 13 and Hogan 11.

Next action for the Trojans will be Friday, Sept. 17 as they celebrate Palco's homecoming on the Palco field against Lincoln.
