Hanchett has big day at Colby Track Invitational
Phillipsburg sophomore Trace Hanchett scored 28 of the Panthers 32 team points to help Phillipsburg placed 8th at the Colby Invitational track meey on May 6th. Hanchett won the discus event with a distance of 143’ 9” and also won the javelin event with a throw of 179’. Hanchett also placed second in the shot put with a distance of 44’ 8”. Also scoring for the Panthers was Rad Rodriguez who finished 5th in the shot put. The all-freshmen team of Hunter Sisson, Caden Seems, Kaden Sisson, and Alex VanAllen finished sixth in the 4x100 meter relay at pick up a team point for Phillipsburg. Sophomore Trevor Dierking cleared a height of 10’ in the pole vault to finish 6th
The Panthers head to Smith Center for the MCL meet on Thursday, May 12.
