Panther Tennis earns home and away victories

On Thursday, Sept. 19, the Panther tennis squad headed in two directions as the JV hosted a quad with Trego, Norton and Osborne while the varsity traveled to Ellsworth for a tournament.

The JV finished the meet in first with a total of 30 points followed by Trego in second.

Individual results for the Panthers included:

#1 Singles: Hallie Jerby, 3-0, first place

#1 Doubles: Lydia Walker and Azariah Christy, 3-0, first place

#2 Singles: Kadence Grote, 3-0, first place

#2 Doubles: Amaya Michael and Miley Moffatt, 3-0, first place

In varsity action at Ellsworth, the team finished in seventh place with a total of 20 points. Ellsworth won the tournament with a total of 65 points.

#1 Singles: Valorie Solida, 1-2, seventh place

#1 Doubles: Hannah Kennedy and Ryann Moffatt, 2-1, seventh place

#2 Singles: Gabby Poels, 2-2, fifth place

#2 Doubles: Katrina Russell and Caydence Conrad, 2-2, fourth place

The team will be back in action on Thursday, Sept. 26 when they travel to Concordia.
