On Friday, Sept. 20, the Phillipsburg Panthers hosted the TMP-Monarchs for the Homecoming game. The Panthers were defeated 22-30 after fighting hard all game.

Despite coming up short, the Panthers had 329 rushing yards with five Panthers adding to that total: seniors Seth Keeten, Kayden Hudson, and Hunter Sissson and juniors Tanner Horinek and Colin Springer.

On the defensive end, juniors Blake Buresh and Tanner Horinek each added an interception.

Senior Kaden Sisson led the team with eight tackles. Following him were seniors Cole Keeten, Caden Seems and Alex VanAllen who added four tackles each.

The Panthers put up a good fight against the Monarchs and now move on with a 2-1 record.

They will be back on at Panther Stadium this Friday, Sept. 27 for a matchup against the Beloit Trojans.
