Phillipsburg junior high opens track season at Norton

The junior high track season started with their first meet being at Norton, Thursday, April 8. The Panthers competed well as a team.

The 8th grade boys got 1st place, 8th grade girls placed 5th, 7th grade boys got 6th and 7th grade girls got 2nd.

The 8th grade girls also had 15 personal records set and Prestyn Hilburn broke the record in the 200 hurdles.

The 8th grade boys win they had 29 personal records.

The were also a few first place medalist like Haylee Paterson in the pole vault and the 400 meter dash, the 8th grade girls in the 4x400 meter relay and 4x100 meter team, Prestyn Hilburn in the 200 and 100 meter hurdles, the 8th grade boys 4x200 relay team and 4x100 meter team, 7th grade girls 4x100 meter relay and Jack Seems in the 100 meter hurdles. There were also many more to place second or third.
