On Tuesday, 10/1, the JV and varsity teams were in action in Wakeeney. The JV went 1-1 on the night defeating Trego in 3: 20-25, 25-16, 15-9. They then dropped straight sets to TMP with the scores of 21-25, 21-25.
The varsity went 3-0 on the night. They started the evening defeating Trego in 3 sets: 25-17, 22-25, 25-8. They then defeated Hill City in two straight sets: 25-18, 25-15. The final matchup of the night was a hard fought match against TMP. TMP took a large early lead and then the first set with a score of 15-25. Phillipsburg Panthers fought back taking the next two sets 25-19, 25-19.
