The “Green Out” was in full effect for the #2 seeded Lady Huskies as they took on the #7 Natoma Tigers in the first round of Tescott Substate Tournament. The Lady Tigers came out and gave the Lady Huskies a very competitive first quarter as the Huskies settled into the game. The Lady Huskies battled some illness and utilized a few more players off the bench to secure a very good team win. Sophomore Delaney Sides took full advantage of her opportunity to start and led the way scoring for the Huskies with 10 points. The Huskies move on to take on the Thunder Ridge Longhorns on 3/2/23 in Tescott at 6 pm in a battle of the #2 and #3 seeds.
This was the first Lady Huskies' first postseason victory since the 2017-18 season.
