Phillipsburg FFA Advisor Earns Golden Owl Award
Phillipsburg FFA Advisor Allison Dix received the Golden Owl Award on Tuesday, Feb. 10, during the Heartland Regional Stockyards Special FFA Sale.
This award, presented with the National FFA Organization, honors outstanding agricultural educators who show strong dedication to their students, chapters, and the agricultural education field.
The Golden Owl Award recognizes FFA advisors who go above and beyond to help students succeed and boost their local FFA programs. Students, FFA members, school staff, fellow agricultural educators, and community members nominate advisors.
The advisor with the most nominations in each district is chosen as that district’s Golden Owl recipient. Dix’s recognition reflects her commitment to agricultural education, leadership development, and the success of Phillipsburg FFA members.
Through her work, she has helped students build skills in leadership, career readiness, and agricultural advocacy. As a district Golden Owl recipient, Dix will move on to the State FFA Convention in May in Manhattan, Kansas, where she will compete with other district winners for the statewide honor.
