Phillipsburg Golfers Finish Third at Russell

Phillipsburg golf team attended the Russell Invitational on Thursday, May 1. Overall, the team finished in third place with a total of 361. Russell finished in first at their home meet with 348 and Hoisington captured the silver at 359.

Individually placings for the Panthers were as follows: sophomore Mason Laurin tied for second with and 85; seniors Avery Jacobs and Hunter Sisson tied for seventh with a 91; senior Jaden Boyle tied for twelfth with a 94 and freshman Cooper Gower finished sixteenth with a 97. Other competitors for the Panthers were junior Cole Shelton.
