Bike Across Kansas Breaks in Logan

Bike Across Kansas made a stop in Logan on Sunday, June 8 to utilize the gym and football fields in their quest to travel the northern part of the state.

The group is scheduled to make stops along highways 36 and 24 ranging from St. Francis to Elwood.

At Logan, several local organizations, such as the Girls Scouts, the junior class and Pocket Park, sold sweet treats downtown for the riders to enjoy. Community members and businesses contributed time, money and food for a breakfast on Monday, June 9, to send the bikers on their way.

After leaving Logan, the bikers will travel along highway 9 through Kirwin and Woodston before the next stop at Osborne—a total of 64.7 miles.
