Lady Panther Track Athletes Begin Season With Strong Showing
The Phillipsburg girls track team competed at the Russell Invitational on April 2, 2026, and turned in a strong overall performance, highlighted by several top finishes in both running and field events.
In the running events, Arianna Ebner placed 6th in the 200m, Chloe VanDerVeen finished 4th in the 400m, Bella Stites took 5th in the 100m hurdles and 4th in the 300m hurdles, and the Panthers also had success in the relays, placing 3rd and 4th in the 4x100m relay and 4th in the 4x400m relay.
In the field events, Aria Gregory placed 2nd in the long jump, Tessa Ragsdale finished 5th and Valorie Solida 6th in the triple jump, Lydia Patterson earned 2nd and Valorie Solida 3rd in the pole vault, Shae Baker placed 4th and Kalinda Meili 6th in the javelin, Kaitlyn McCreery took 4th and Ryleigh Seems 5th in the shot put, and in the high jump Aria Gregory and Ryleigh Seems both placed 3rd, while Kamrie Chestnut finished 5th.
The Phillipsburg girls track team competed at the 2026 Norton High School Invitational on Friday, April 9 and had a strong showing across both running and field events.
In the running events, Ana Schemper placed 5th in the 400m, Bella Stites earned a 3rd-place finish in the 100m hurdles, the Panthers placed 5th and 6th in the 4x100m relay, and took 4th in the 4x400m relay.
In the field events, Aria Gregory placed 5th in the high jump and claimed a 1st-place finish in the long jump, Lydia Patterson earned 3rd in the pole vault, Shae Baker placed 6th in the javelin, and Kaitlyn McCreery and Ryleigh Seems both finished 3rd in the shot put, rounding out a solid performance for Phillipsburg.
