Panthers Capture First Place at Home Mixed League Tennis Championship

On Saturday, Oct. 4, the Panthers varsity tennis team hosted the Mixed League Championship and delivered an outstanding performance, finishing first overall as a team.

Leading the charge was #1 singles player Gabby Poels, who went undefeated with a 4-0 record, earning first place and taking home gold. #2 singles Valorie Solida also had a perfect day, finishing 4-0 to claim first place and a gold medal of her own.

In doubles action, #1 doubles partners Azariah Christy and Lydia Walker finished 3-1, securing second place and silver medals. Meanwhile, #2 doubles team Kadence Grote and Miley Moffatt battled hard to finish 2-2, earning third place overall.

The Panthers will return to action on Friday, Oct. 10, as they travel to Wakeeney to compete in regional play.
