Phillipsburg Cross Country members continue to better times

The Phillipsburg Panthers High School Cross Country Team competed in the Beliot Invitational on October 2, 2025. The meet was held at the Cawker City Golf Course. The Panther team competed in the Junior Varsity Division.

Freshman Valeria Hernandez finished the race in 1st place, earning her medal with a PR time of 26:01. Freshman Roger Riedel placed 7th in the JV race with a PR of 22:07. Sophomore Brayden King finished in 25th place with a 25:19 which was also a PR.

The Middle School Cross Country Team joined the High School in Beloit. Eighth grade runner Julia Walker placed 19th in the 2 mile, with a time of 16:10. Bryson King, a 7th grade runner, placed 67th in the 2 mile with a PR time of 26:39. The Panthers are excited to compete at home on October 9th for their next meet.
