The Phillipsburg boys tennis team had a solid week, finishing first at the Concordia round-robin on Thursday, April 2.

Phillipsburg scored 28 points, beating Concordia (15) and Chapman (11), and took first in all four spots.

Senior Cash Roth won #1 singles with three strong matches. Junior Brady Russom did the same at #2 singles, including a couple of quick wins.

In doubles, Colton Ewing and William Jessup took first at #1, and John Rielle and Aden Shaw finished it off with a first place finish at #2.

Earlier in the week on March 30, Phillipsburg placed second at a quad with 23 points, just behind Hoisington. Roth and Russom both took second in singles, while Ewing and Jessup went undefeated to win #1 doubles. Aden Shaw and Cody Summitt added another second-place finish at #2 doubles.
