The Logan FFA Floriculture students traveled to Colby today to compete in the floriculture judging contest, where they showcased their knowledge and skills in a variety of challenging events. Participants completed two practicum tests, evaluated two flower classes, identified 30 plant specimens, and took a comprehensive floriculture exam.

The team’s success is a direct result of their dedication and hard work. Students committed to early morning practices and spent additional time outside of class studying plant identification and floriculture concepts in preparation for the contest.

Their results:

  • Hunter – 1st place
  • Madyson – 3rd place
  • Clay – 4th place
  • Haylee – 5th place
  • Kaydee – 6th place
  • Addie – 9th place
  • Jayla – 12th place
  • Brecken – 19th place

As a team, the Logan FFA Floriculture group earned 1st place overall.
