Laurin Picks up Third Gold Medal

The Golf team traveled to Osborne, April 14, to compete at the Shady Bend golf tournament.

The team consisted of senior Cole Shelton, junior Mason Laurin, sophomores Kelcie Jacobs, Cooper Gower, Owen Miller and Corbin Sammons.

The varsity team placed second overall with a score of 348, following Hill City with a score of 332.

Laurin placed first with a score of 73 and Shelton placed fourth with a score of 80.

The team traveled to Plainville on Monday, April 20 to compete at the Rooks County Golf Course.

Laurin picked up his third win in a row by shooting 75, two under par. Shelton also picked up his third medal by placing fifth with a score of 85. Sophomore Owen Miller finish 15th and earned a medal. The remaining golfers were Gower 18th, Sammons 23rd and Jacobs 30th.

Golfers will travel to Norton on Thursday, April 23.
