Finished Garden Shed Project from Dane G. Hansen Foundation and Greater Northwest Kansas Community Foundation

Thank you to Dane G. Hansen Foundation and Greater Northwest Kansas Community Foundation and the Logan Community Development Foundation for the grant to purchase the garden kit for the Ag classes. This opportunity was an incredibly valuable educational experience, and we all gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and hands-on skills throughout the process.

Students were involved in every stage of construction, including framing the building, drilling anchor holes into the concrete, installing the 4x4 supports, laying shingles, and painting the finished structure. Through this experience, the students developed practical construction skills and gained a much deeper understanding of how a building is designed and assembled from start to finish.

All three students expressed how much they learned from this project and how rewarding it was to see the completed building after contributing to every step of the process. Thank you again for providing us with this outstanding learning opportunity and for helping us create a structure that will continue to benefit our program for years to come.
