Logan volleyball starts season 1-3

The Logan High School volleyball team traveled to Palco on Tuesday for an evening quad. They beat Palco handily in two sets 25-6, 25-19. The Trojans played tough through 3 sets in their next two matches but lost to Ness City 23-25, 25-20, 25-19 and Golden Plains 7-25, 25-22, 16-25.

On Friday, the volleyball team hosted Northern Valley. In a fierce contest to 5 sets, the Trojans battled and scrapped for every point. The Huskies took the 1st and 3rd sets, but the Trojans fought back to win the 2nd and 4th. It all came down to the wire in the 5th. The home team just couldn't hang on and lost by two points at the very end 14-16.

The Lady Trojans till play at home on Tuesday, Sept. 8 as they host Tri-plains.
