Panthers Drop Homecoming Game to TMP

The Phillipsburg Panthers played the TMP Monarchs at home, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m.

During the first half, junior quarterback Cooper Gower gained the first touchdown of the game off of a three-yard run, followed by junior running back Caleb Leidig scoring the two-point conversion.

At the beginning of the second quarter, senior slotback TyRay Snyder scored a touchdown off a 23-yard pass made by Cooper Gower leading the Panthers 21-8 in the first half.

The team ended the game with 174 rushing yards and 31 passing yards. Leidig lead the team with 106 rushing yards.

The team ended with a 21-36 loss, but will look to rebound at Norton against the Bluejays, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m.
