Northern Valley Drops Final Home Game of Season

Friday, Oct. 9, Northern Valley hosted Golden Plains for the last home game of the year. The game resulted in a 60-13 loss for the Huskies.

The team got off to a good start scoring on the opening drive as Lucas Hansen Completed a three-yard pass to Griffin McKinney for a touchdown. The Huskies kept it close in the first half, as they did a good job on defense stopping Golden Plain’s run.

As the game wore on, the Huskies struggled to match their speed.

Lucas Hansen led the team with 15 total tackles.

On offense, the Huskies turned the ball over too frequently, which killed the drives. The Huskies were led by Hansen who accounted for two touchdowns including a 78-yard touchdown run.

Next week, the Huskies travel to Brewster for the final district game.
