Logan Volleyball Finishes WKLL Tournament 1-4

It was a big week of volleyball for the Lady Trojans as they began their week in Colby on Tuesday for a quad with Palco, Western Plains and Heartland Christian. While they lost to Western Plains 5-25, 23-25, they came back to beat Palco 25-22, 25-22 and Heartland Christian 25-7, 25-11.

On Saturday, the girls headed to Goodland to play in the WKLL Volleyball Tournament. The #6 seeded Trojans were 1-3 in pool play losing to Golden Plains 14-25, 19-25, Weskan 10-25, 15-25 and Western Plains 20-25, 15-25. They beat Triplains 25-19, 25-16.

In bracket play, the Trojans were matched with Palco and literally took it down to the wire in three sets. The Trojans struggled in the first set, losing 16-25, but took charge in the second set winning 25-19. The third set was a close one, but the Trojans just couldn't hold on and lost 25-27.

The girls will take the week off from play this week and will return October 19 for Regional Tournament play.
