Phillipsburg Middle School Track Ends Season in Record Breaking Style

Junior high track came to a close at Hill City for the league meet on Tuesday, May 12.

The team had not only a great performance but it was also a great day for the last meet. At the meet there were two new school records broken. Those included Katlyn Meili beat her own in javelin with a new throw of 88’9” and the 7th grade boys beat their own record as well with a new time of 4:24.02.

The teams competed well overall and the 7th grade girls placed 3rd overall and got to take home a plaque. The 8th grade boys placed 4th, 7th grade boys place 9th, and 8th grade girl placed 6th. Their was a total of 41 pr’s beat by the team.
