Three Logan-Palco teams made it to the final day of the WKLL tournament play in Brewster on Saturday.
The B-team boys lost to Grinnell-Wheatland 39-3 in the semi-finals and lost a hard fought battle 21-26 in double overtime to Weskan for 4th place.
The A-team boys started well against Cheylin, but fell off in the second half. They held on for the 41-32 win, which placed them in the championship game versus a tough Weskan team. The Coyotes pulled ahead and extended their lead finishing 53-35 over the Trojans. The Trojans took 2nd place.
In girls action, the Lady Trojans were excited to make it to the second day of tournament play, farther than they have been for the last few years. They lost 17-57 to Cheylin, but came back to beat Northern Valley in a close 32-27 game for 3rd place.
