Logan FFA Competes in Land & Homesite Judging!

Today, the Logan FFA Land and Homesite Judging teams traveled to Norton to compete in the District Land & Homesite Judging Contest!

Students put their knowledge and skills to the test by evaluating soil characteristics, determining soil texture, slope, erosion, land capability, and recommended management practices. In Homesite Judging, students also evaluated soil and site conditions to determine their suitability for building and development.

These students have spent time practicing and learning how to evaluate soil and make decisions based on real-world conditions. Land and Homesite Judging requires critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail, and we are proud of the hard work they put in.
