Logan Football Matchup Down to the Wire

The Trojans were on the road to Otis-Bison on Friday. In a back and forth game most of the night, it all came down to the last minute of the game. Logan was down 42-45 with 1:05 left to play. A Trojan touchdown with :54 seconds on the clock gave Logan the lead 48-45. With :16 seconds left, the Cougars scored again and secured the win 48-52.

Defensively, senior Taden Gottschalk chalked up a whopping 19 tackles, 12 of those solo. Junior Jasper States was close behind with 15. Sophomore Weston Ruff blocked a field goal attempt. T. Gottschalk also ran for 239 yards on 22 carries, picked up 39 receiving yards and scored 5 touchdowns on the night. Senior Buster States scored a touchdown and tallied 88 all-purpose yards, while freshman Henry States also scored and totaled 53 all-purpose yards. QB Easton Gottschalk completed 17 of 20 pass attempts for 145 yards.

The Trojans will be back on the road again next Friday as they travel to Chase.
